Asian International Market's mission is to provide you with a great shopping experience in a clean and friendly environment. We want to help you become more familiar with Asian cuisine and might even persuade you to try something new! If for some reason we can't help you find what you are looking for, we are happy to point you in the right direction.

Owners, Bouavanh (Toy) Schuelke and Bouachanh (Bee) Phonthavisouk, are twin sisters who came to the United States as immigrants from Laos at the age of 11. As they worked their way through school, both had jobs at local Asian supermarkets and restaurants, hoping to one day have a store of their own.

In 2006, Bouavanh and Bouachanh purchased Asian International Market, and have worked hard to improve and expand the business; striving to be Milwaukee's #1 family-owned Asian grocery store, and provide you with the best service and products. You won't find a happier pair of sisters to help serve you!

Full Marks Across The Board! I am very impressed by the quality of this establishment! The staff were courteous, knowledgable, and helpful, and the store itself was clean and well-stocked. The staff member who helped me was very kind and even friendly; I will definitely be returning to Asian International Market next time I am in need of exotic ingredients!

This place is great and the employees are so friendly and helpful. I came in with a recipe and a girl there helped me find everything I needed and also gave me some tips for the recipe! They have a great selection... plenty of rice, noodles, sauces... and also lots of fresh produce that you can't find at Pick 'n Save, like lemongrass and galangal. They also have a counter where you can order sticky rice and this papaya salad that they make to order... it's very good. The prices are good. There's street parking and a small parking lot behind the store.

I moved from Los Angeles to Milwaukee. There is a Thai Town in LA, and I needed to find something similar here. Let me say that I like this little asian grocery better than the one in LA. So many good things about this place. - friendly staff – clean - variety of products, including candy, rice, beverages, sauce, cookware, fresh vegetables, etc. - they have papaya salad! - 30 minute parking at rear If you're in Milwaukee, I highly recommend trying out this place before driving to Chicago. It will save you a lot of time and gas.
